Jerome Hill

Jerome Hill?  Simply put, he is the man.  Whether rocking thousands at festivals around the globe, or putting it down for a private room, there is perhaps no DJ in the world to match his uncanny instinct for getting it right--which he does using an encyclopædic knowledge of dance music, while blowing minds with his distinct scratching style and bottomless record bag.  His London-based label, Don't Recordings, is going to its sixteenth issue and already hosts an amazing stable of techno classics.  Deep.

LuSINda

The angel with the killer crates!  This one-woman show defines keepin' it real.  Well- known for her love of any style that gets the funk up, her sets are a showcase of what's awesome in just about every genre of underground dance music.  And she knows how to pick 'em: releasing killer, stabbing, off-kilter techno tracks on her UK label, Victim Recordings, as well as inaugurating a new grime label, GRUFF, with its first release out this year.  Hip hop to ragga to rave, this Miss kicks it no-skool.

Forest Green

Ah, Forest!  We admit it, we love her.  Love her.  In a class by herself when it comes to celebrating the pure joy of what we do through music, and now banging up the studio on her own Cute Fang Recordings imprint, she never, ever fails to fill the floor and keep it pumping.  If you're a regular on the Bay Area dance scene, you know what we're talking about.  And if you're not, well she's probably played your town, too.  Just get in here and be ready to smile...!

Sibyl Vane was raised to respect the value of everything and the price of nothing, 

scouring record shops and obscure mail-order sites the world over for the kind of vinyl you won't hear from any other west coast DJ.  Sibyl always brings raw, jacking sounds and breaking rhythms together for an eyes-closed, hands-up, do-the-freaky-robot vibe, scaling it to fit the venue--from warehouse to your house.  Point-blank: it's drug music.  Can you pass the acid test?

((Audiosect)) is a local outfit dedicated to advancing the global underground uprising by hosting events, both legal and whatever the opposite of legal is.  As often as possible, we present overseas artists in exclusive North American appearances. San Francisco deserves something more than the same old touring acts and flavor-of-the-month moneymakers.  Now... we want you to forget your mind, bounce your ass, and take a trip.
