No, they’re not on tour. We’re flying them direct from London to SF for a one-off, paying out of pocket to bring you this party virtually for free during the toughest economic times in US history. Why?
Because it’s important that if you’re going to talk shit (like we do) about what it means to be underground, independent, and a steward of ‘the scene,’ that you put your money where your mouth is and do something for the scene other than make your guests foot the bill for your private afterparty.
In other words, our hearts--and asses--are in it for real, and in it for keeps. So, sorry this thang ain’t on a Friday, but that costs mo’ money. Sorry it doesn’t go for 8 hours, that costs even more. But having a good time and hearing the dopest underground cuts, while partying with truly world-class talent, can’t always be about having money or getting plenty of sleep on a weeknight.
